| Greetings: |
| |
| The Oceti Sakowin Education Consortium
is facing a positive time in the history of Indian
Education. As a membership owned and managed consortium,
we are ready to help each other out, regardless
of the needs or the distances between our homes.
Our goal is to meet the needs of our children so
our communities can remain strong and viable. Yourparticipation
in our consortium is welcomed. |
| |
| Regardless of your position as a school
teacher, service provider, faculty member, or any
of the other many positions necessary in helping
our schools serve students; your work with our consortium
is appreciated. It is my hope that we can create
partnerships that will strengthen our schools through
collaboration |
| |
| These pages in the services portion of
the OSEC website are designed to be a window into
our work. The consortium began as a group of people
with a dream and that dream has become a reality
in the services provided to our schools. As John
Haas once said: “There is nothing so difficult
to maintain as a vision that has become a reality.”
Our vision has been achieved and it is now through
partnerships with people like you that we can maintain
a reality that sees our children growing, learning,
and living in a safe and well-educated environment.
Without your help, we will not get very far, but
with it we can change the lives of the 14,000 children
served by our membership. |
| |
| Once you have reviewed the services outlined
within these pages, please feel free to contact
me to discuss how our consortium might assist you
in the future and how you might become an active
partner in the Oceti Sakowin Education Consortium. |
